Do muslims believe in angels?

In one sentence

Yes; belief in angels is one of Islam's six pillars of faith: beings of light who worship God and never disobey Him.

Muslims believe in angels with certainty; it is one of the six pillars of faith, alongside belief in God, His books, His messengers, the Last Day and divine decree. Angels belong to the unseen world, but the Quran and the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, have described them. God created them from light, before humankind, to worship and obey Him, and the Quran says they never disobey His commands. They are beautiful, have wings, and can be vast in size. Islam rejects the picture of angels as winged babies, and teaches that they have no gender. Angels carry out God’s commands: delivering revelation, recording deeds, and taking souls at death, among other tasks. The article “Angels” sets out what Muslims know of them and the texts it rests on.
